April 23, 2015

Helen J. Tarantino, West Roxbury, MA, Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser has earned the Residential Accredited Appraiser (RAA) designation from the National Association of  REALTORS®.

Tarantino, an appraiser since 1993, holds membership in the National Association of REALTORS® and is affiliated with Metropolitan Appraisal Services, West Roxbury, MA, a real estate appraisal and consulting specializing in Real Estate Appraisals.  She is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS®  and the Greater Boston Association of REALTORS® .

The RAA designation is awarded on an ongoing basis throughout the year and recognizes a high level of professionalism and commitment to the industry by members of NAR who meet specified qualifications. Program qualifications to earn a designation include membership in NAR, successful completion of several educational requirements, experience in the industry and state certification.  NAR’s Appraisal Designation Program has been designating members since 1994.

“These designations signify that the appraiser who earns them has gone beyond the minimum requirements to become certified in this field,” said Bob Galliher, GAA designee, REALTOR®  from NY.

“Designees are more professional in their appraisal practices because of the added educational and experience requirements that come along with earning a designation,” Galliher added.

Tarantino’s participation in the National Association of REALTORS® Appraisal Group and in the RAA/GAA designation program reflects her commitment to professional integrity, trustworthiness, and advancement in the field of appraisal.

Realtors® is a registered collective membership mark which may be used only by real estate professionals who are members of the National Association of Realtors and subscribe to its strict code of ethics.
